Today's Daily Express lead with a headline on the front page that:

Supposedly owners across the country are seeing big rises in house prices.

Unfortunately when you dig into the figures they've used, they turn out to be the figures for June 2016 compared to the same period last year. The referendum was held on the 23rd June. So the referendum result will only have affected the last week of those results :-(. July's figure would be far more telling and all the experts say there will be a dip in house prices. The only disagreements are how luch and how long.

And that's the sad thing - printing it as a headline and in bold type doesn't make it true, even if it is good news. Ho hum.
