Theresa May is scheduled to meet Angela Merkel and Francois Hallande this week in her first international debut as Prime Minister.
Brexit and the UK's future relationship is sure to be high on the agenda. And in all probability some pressure from the French President to invoke Article 50 as soon as possible.
I'm not sure that the French actually want us out as quickly as possible, I think it's just that they want the uncertainty as to whether we're leaving or not ended as soon as possible. It's unsettling all the international markets.
However one can only hope that Theresa May will treat this one with caution as once Article 50 is invoked we can't go back. And we'll be on a fixed timeline.
