Can someone please put a muzzle on Nigel Farage.
Not content with taking us out of Europe, Nigel Farage now seems determined to burn as many bridges behind us as he can.
He's currently addressing the European Parliment
And using such statesmen-like phrases as:
"Isn't it funny," Mr Farage said.
"When I came here 17 years ago and said I wanted to lead a campaign to get Britain to leave the Europeans Union, you all laughed at me. Well you're not laughing now."
"Most of you have never done a proper job in your lives."
Seriously? We're about to try and undertake one of the most difficult things this country has had to do in the last 50 years. We need people to be cool, calm and rational, and to try and make the best of this awful situation. We need people who will try and make it as painless as possible for all those involved.
We definitely do not need someone who seems to be delighting in throwing around school boy insults and lording it over the people we are supposed to be having a constructive dialogue with.
If we have to leave, these are the people who can try and make it painless for us to leave, or can try and make it as difficult as possible for us, so is it really sensible to spend your time insulting them?
